The Lazada Story

Founded in 2012, Lazada Group is Southeast Asia’s leading eCommerce platform. With a presence in six countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam – we connect this vast and diverse region through our technology, logistics, and payments capabilities. Today, we have the largest selection of brands and sellers, and by 2030, we aim to serve 300 million customers. In 2016, Lazada became the regional flagship of the Alibaba Group and is backed by Alibaba’s best-in-class technology infrastructure.

We are updating and improving our product selections at the best prices to delight our customers along with great deals and flash sales. In December 2019, Lazada partnered up with Citibank to launch a new credit card in Singapore, and then various countries later then.

Sporting a new ‘heart’ logo mark that shows the letter “L” as a three-dimensional box, Lazada is committed to providing better and more unique ways to make sure that every transaction is truly effortless. The new tagline ‘Go Where Your Heart Beats’ represents the company’s vision to boost online shopping and seller experience through commerce and technology. Launched on the Lazada platform in 2018, LazMall is Southeast Asia's biggest virtual mall connecting shoppers to over 18,000 leading international and local brands. LazMall is the preferred platform for brands and sellers to directly engage and create a customized experience for their customers.
