Your role

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Invite and provide evidence-based feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Work with existing processes/systems whilst making constructive suggestions for improvements.
  • Validate data and analysis for accuracy and relevance.
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with technical developments for the business areas.
  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise, and articulate manner - verbally and in written form.
  • Seek opportunities to learn about other cultures and other parts of the business across the Network of PwC firms.
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Training, development & rotations

They constantly adapt their programs to meet the needs of modern businesses, tailoring them to their client objectives, and helping both their clients and individuals in the local market. They closely work with their clients to understand their learning needs, design compelling programs, and learning journeys, and deliver a training solution that addresses their investment objectives.

PwC training solutions are based on the practical experience and insights accumulated in working with clients across sectors and geographies, making their programs relevant and immediately applicable in practice. Their instructors have experienced PwC practitioners and industry subject matter experts who have worked with the country’s leading organizations to solve important business challenges.

Compensation & benefits

Compensation and employee benefits may be provided in many different forms. The accounting is unique to the type of benefit provided and can be complex.

  • Stock-based compensation.
  • Pensions and other post-post-employment fits.
  • Liability-classified awards chapter overview.
  • Measurement date, vesting, and expense attribution overview.
  • Overview of modifications to stock-based compensation awards.
  • Expense recognition—employee benefits.

Career progression

You can expect a structured career path and rapid career progression. Typically, you’ll spend 2-3 years at each level (Associate, Senior Associate, Manager, and Director) as you progress towards Partner.

At the same time, there’s no one pre-defined path that everyone has to follow. You can apply for full MBA sponsorship to a global top 10 MBA program, or take a leave of absence at any stage to pursue a personal goal. They also have flexibility programs for anyone who requires a more flexible approach to balancing the needs of work and home, including parents and caregivers.

Work-life balance

The work they do requires personal commitment and endurance. And this is why they take care of their selves as well as others in the team – it’s all made possible by having a good team atmosphere, fun at work, tasks bearing real responsibility together with flexibility on both sides and mutual respect for one another. So to make sure that you’re ready to face the challenges of the working day, they also offer you the chance to get away from things and recharge your batteries.
