Joy Jimenez started one of the first independent and provincial hubs of QuadX based in Cebu City. She believes that excellence of work can be done through proper communication and setting up ambitious yet achievable goals.
“Pioneering the Cebu hub ground up and having to weigh calculated risks to come up with the best proposals for the location, right contractors, a manpower agency to hire to upper management is the most life and career-changing task I have ever encountered. Yes, I did face a lot of challenges, struggles, and I am grateful for those are what shaped me to whom I am today.
An empowered culture is one of the many things I love about QuadX. For me, being empowered is to be trusted which inspires me to push more, to do more. I like how our culture lets my colleagues and I to think outside the box, venturing ways to grow the business and to be creative as to making the processes better.
It is also with this mindset that motivates me to ensure that the workspace has good morale. I personally believe in the philosophy of ‘living to better the lives of others’, which is why I try to get to know more about my supervisees through kamustahansduring our off hours. This gives me an understanding on how I can encourage them to do their work better especially in times when there are work issues.”

Outside work, she has an interest of studying stock market trends and investing on the side. And on Sundays she conducts Bible-based fellowship for kids with her sister as a co-facilitator.
