As part of the Graduate programme, the company really puts in effort to help you with your career development. Graduates are granted many opportunities to network with leaders and are encouraged to have mentors, with the expectation that the Graduates will be in the pipeline for a leadership position in the future. Promotions happen when there are openings available for the next job grade, and the managers evaluate based on performance.

Within the department, opportunities are quite limited as only few roles are open. Even when open, usually there is already someone in mind for that role.
Outside the department, I think that it might be a little more difficult, especially if no opportunity to collaborate with that department. Mainly because it's hard to tell what their work & roles are like if no exposure or context to what they do. Not much opportunity to connect with them if no projects.
