That’s why we are looking for a friendly, well-spoken sales development representative(s) to assist us in expanding our customer base. As the Sales Development Representative(SDR), you will focus on sales prospecting. You will find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up their account representatives for success. Or at the very least, the ideal SDR is coachable and willing to learn this process. An outstanding SDR prospects with curiosity, persistence, and a consultative mindset. 

Your success hinges on your ability to network and hold engaging conversations. Performance will be measured through prospecting activities and successful prospect meetings to your assigned account representative. You will also be expected to contribute to the continual improvement of the organization’s messaging playbook.

Your Team

You will be reporting directly to the SDR Manager and working alongside your fellow SDR’s. Expect high interaction with the marketing team and the rest of the sales team, especially your account executive. 

We work closely with our business partners, the household brands in technology, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft and Outsystems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to manage, sustain, and convert a pipeline of interested prospects
  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook
  • Nurture relationships with potential customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Initiating contact with potential customers through cold outreach or responding to inquiries generated from marketing campaigns 
  • Moving solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

About You:

Basic Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 
  • Interest in sales
  • A Helper - you like to help people solve their problems and reach their goals 
  • Comfortable with rejections and no’s 
  • Confident 
  • Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Experience with Salesloft, Zoominfo, HubSpot and/or similar CRMs
  • Previous sales and/or engineering experience is a plus
