8:00 AM
I wake up to the sound of my alarm. Take a shower, have breakfast, and get ready for work.
9:00 AM
I log in to work. I’ve been working from home since the pandemic started so I don’t have to travel to the office. From here on, I check my emails and see if there are any urgent items or tasks I need to do. I also check if there are any scheduled meetings with partners or other departments that I need to prepare for.
10:00 AM
After finishing up on my emails, we usually have team meetings to start our day once a week. Now that we’re all working from home, we usually meet through Zoom but this is what our meetings looked like pre-pandemic.
And I have to say, I do miss working in the office.
10:30 AM
After our team meetings, we start to work on our assigned tasks for the day. Since I work in HR, my typical work day involves posting job or internship vacancies, pre-screening resumes, and interviewing candidates.
12:00 NN
Lunch time. I take my break and make sure to set an alarm by 1pm to get back to work.
1:00 PM
Back to doing my tasks.
3:00 PM
By the afternoon, I focus on updating our reports. I en
sure that every candidate has the status of their application and send invites to those who passed the initial assessment and will proceed to next step of their application.
4:00 PM
I usually have scheduled meetings with partners and other departments in the afternoon as well. This is where we discuss our hiring needs and determine our hiring timeline.
6:00 PM
Time to log off from work for the day. This is my time to unwind for a bit and start preparing dinner.
7:00 PM
Dinner time. I usually watch a movie or a TV show while eating dinner as well. After that, I clean up in the kitchen, lay on the sofa for a few hours and check my personal social media accounts.
11:00 PM
Finally, time for bed.
