Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships for Study at Harvard University

Key details

About this scholarship

The Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships were established at Harvard University in honor of the late Frank Knox, who served as Secretary of the U.S. Navy in the 1940s and who believed that strong ties between the United States and the British Commonwealth were essential to international peace. The Knox Memorial Fellowship program promotes this legacy through scholarly exchange, in part by providing fellowships to students from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom who wish to conduct graduate study at one of Harvard University's ten graduate or professional schools - the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Graduate School of Design, Graduate School of Education, Harvard Business School, Harvard Divinity School, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Law School, Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and the Harvard School of Public Health.

Up to three (3) Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships will be awarded to students from Australia for graduate study in any field at Harvard University during academic year 2016-2017. Fellows are selected on the basis of academic excellence, strength of character, and potential for leadership in their field.
