Graduate Diploma
The Graduate Diploma of Anatomy provides specialist training in clinical and surgical anatomy and is particularly suited for those preparing for the SET Surgical Science Examination of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. It is structured for candidates with a busy work schedule who are looking to further their career in surgery, radiology or other medical specialities. The course consists of four units, two flexible online sessions, a 16 day intensive whole body dissection, and a medical research unit. The two online units provide an in-depth revision of clinical anatomy and embryology in preparation for the 16-day intensive period involving whole body dissection under guidance of Macquarie University hospital surgeons, radiologists and anatomists. The medical research unit provides candidates with an opportunity to improve their research skills.
