Masters (Coursework)
Cyber security is always in the spotlight, whether it's a story about data breaches or election hacking. Cyber criminals pose a risk to everyone and every organisation. Governments and businesses have an urgent demand for staff with the knowledge, skills and creativity to tackle cybercrime. With a joint criminology and cyber security postgraduate qualification, graduates will be able to understand who commits cyber and other crimes, their motivations for doing so, how society responds to such crime, and how the impact of crime can be alleviated. We bring together perspectives in risk, IT, finance, law, governance, psychology, sociology and policing, providing you with a multidisciplinary skill set that will enable you to lead more effective responses to both cyber security and other crime challenges.
