Undertaking Honours in nursing gives you the opportunity to complete a two year part-time program (available to local students) or a year-long program (available to both local and international students). The program combines coursework and research in an area of nursing practice relevant to your clinical interests, the nursing discipline and our nursing research program. The program will provide opportunity to further advance your nursing knowledge and skills; entry into higher degree program; and expand employment opportunities including a career in nursing research and project management. Students undertaking an approved graduate year program, while enrolled in the honours course, may apply for credit for the nursing elective. To receive the credit, students need to have completed a minimum of 52 days of clinical practice and provide a satisfactory report of their clinical progress from the graduate year program coordinator.
