Changes to society and technology have increased our vulnerability to terrorist attacks and have given unprecedented power to terrorists. Governments and businesses need analysts who have the knowledge, skills and creativity to understand terrorists and the dynamic and complex systems that terrorists are leveraging. Our counter terrorism and criminology double degree draws from fields, including sociology, psychology, psychiatry and social anthropology, to understand better, measure and evaluate crime of all types. You’ll learn who commits crimes, their motivations for doing so, how society responds to such crime, and how the impact of crime can be alleviated. We’ll also equip you with a practical skill set to analyse and design strategies and policies to address domestic, regional and international counter terrorism challenges.
