About this course

It's vital for those who experience deafness, hearing loss or visual impairment to be able to connect with those around them. A career in the disability sector, working with people with sensory impairments in a way that addresses their individual needs, is an opportunity to make a real difference. The Master of Disability Studies will provide you with the knowledge and skills to adapt content, teaching methodology and delivery instruction to meet the needs of each individual with sensory disabilities. It will also prepare you for the advanced professional duties required of a qualified special educator working in the area of sensory disabilities, or the expertise to conduct research or complete further study in this field.
