Department of Education Graduate Stories

The Graduate Program further introduced differing areas of the Department and public service functions where I was able to learn and develop in a supportive environment.

In my time at Education, I have received excellent mentorship from the department from both my direct supervisor and others within Executive leadership.

Supervisors want to see you thrive and encourage continuous development to reach your potential.      

Learning alongside others is what really makes the graduate experience so unique.

I completed two rotations in areas that I may have never considered working in prior to beginning the program, both of which have provided me with extensive opportunities for professional development.

I was able to explore working in different sections of the department, develop varied knowledge and skills, and discover what stream of work I enjoy most.

Having such a wonderful team to work with has been a key highlight, as well as thoroughly enjoying the meaningful work I have been exposed to at the department.
